I love my job!

I can’t believe I am about to say this but I truly love my job! I love being there, I love the people I work with and I even like the actual work!

I never thought I would be that person that could truthfully say they enjoyed their job. I have been in the workforce for almost 10 years and up until this current job I have never felt the desire to be at work or to actually do my best.

I went through an unemployment phase of about 4 months before this job where I was constantly applying to various positions without any luck. And the ones I was having a chance at seemed to have some glaring red flags. Until this job came along. To be honest I never thought a retail job would bring me happiness but this one does! I am so very grateful for this job and definitely try my best at every task I am given.

I was afraid for a while to actually say out loud that I enjoyed working because I was unsure if it would make me start to dislike it…turns out it did not make me dislike it! I still very much enjoy working and am so glad I got the job I have! It is doing wonders for my mental health!
