Do you have a song or playlist that when you listen to it everything just feels like it is going to be okay? Like the song is giving you the strength to carry on and know that no matter what is happening in your life at that moment, with that song or songs in the background you kind of don’t care because you know it will work out. I definitely have those songs. They tend to change all the time. But the feeling they give me doesn’t change. Listening to those songs is almost like receiving a hug from someone that cares about you. My current comfort playlist is titled Chicago because when I was in Chicago this past July was the last time I felt like everything was as it should be and everything was going to be okay. I find myself listening to this playlist anytime my depression gets to be too much or when I need encouragement or really anytime. Okay, all the time. I wanted to share the names of the songs with you so here is a list.

Music has always been a great source of comfort in my life. Through the good and bad times music has been my companion which can be a good thing and sometimes a not so good thing. Certain songs remind me of the great experiences and times in my life while some also can remind me of the sad and not so great experiences. Either way I am thankful for music.
