Guys I am doing it I am writing in public at a coffee shop! *Pause for applause* I used to feel so insecure writing in public and to be honest I am still a little insecure but I am getting better. Am I secretly hoping someone from a publishing company will see what I am writing an offer me a publishing deal? Absolutely! I am just a wonderfully dressed mysterious writer in a coffee shop waiting for my big movie like break! Of course? The voice in my head as I write is worthy of an early 2000’s movie intro. Just call me Julia Stiles or Amanda Bynes. But um…where is my Heath Ledger or Channing Tatum?
Okay, I am going to be honest I am sitting outside of the coffee shop by the door and every time someone comes out or goes in I stop typing and casually, inconspicuously try to cover my screen! Have some confidence Kaylie! How is anyone from a publishing company going to offer you a deal if you cover the amazing words you are writing? Also, how are you going to have the ultimate meet cute when a handsome stranger with tattoos and an abundance of rings stops to tell you that you are an amazing writer and asks to sit with you and ultimately ends with you living happily ever after traveling the world being so in love that everyone around you is disgusted? Confidence is key.
